Biography

As an artist, I am very connected to the beauty of the wilderness. Growing up in northern Minnesota, and a daughter of a lumberjack, I spent much of my time around nature in particular the cabin on the lake.

From watching the snow fall listlessly through the air in the mountains of Colorado to capturing the beauty of a sea turtle in Kauai, my adventures have given me a deep appreciation of nature.

Most of my art is inspired by scenes in the Midwest, Colorado, and California and often from photos that I have taken while traveling.  Through my art, I strive to capture the essence of my experiences and share it with others.
